Already Approved – Ceremony Date Assistance

For couples who hold a valid Certificate of Marital Status and need assistance finding and booking a ceremony date in Denmark.

Ceremony availability cannot be guaranteed. Couples must be flexible regarding municipality, location, weekday and ceremony time. The Certificate of Marital Status must remain valid on the wedding date.

A Certificate of Marital Status is normally valid for four months from the date of issue. If it expires before the ceremony, the couple must reapply and pay a new government fee.

Add-on: Apostille & Legalisation Handling

From €250 per certificate — available after the legal ceremony where an apostille or legalisation is required.

Courier, translation, official, consular and other third-party fees are quoted separately where applicable. Not all countries require an apostille. Please confirm requirements with the relevant authority.

Approval and processing times are controlled solely by the Danish authorities. Ceremony availability is controlled by the relevant municipality.

All MarryDenmark service prices are displayed as consumer prices. Official fees and clearly identified third-party costs are separate.
